Mid-Atlantic/Southeast (MASE)

MASE TURN has a specific mission of providing information and support for organizational and educational change for participating locals within the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the United States. This includes (but is not exclusive to) locals in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana (more...).

This special forum entitled, “Building Collaborative Partnerships to Improve Teacher Effectiveness” will provide opportunities to examine policies, programs and practices that influence teaching effectiveness.  In addition, we will consider the roles our unions, districts and states play in ensuring teaching quality in our public schools.
 
Local union leaders are strongly encouraged to invite representatives from their states, districts and communities to join their teams for this two-day forum.
